The Tea plant

Basically every tea got a kick out of starts from specific sorts of the plant known as the camellia sinensis. The plant is small, the evergreen bush can be grown up to 10m high. It is originated in East Asia, Southeast Asia and Indian subcontinent.

The plant needs a hot, humid climate with a minimum of 100 centimetres of rainfall per year. Also, it likes deep acidic well-drained soil. Tea plants will grow 2100meters above from the sea level. It will take about three years when it is prepared for harvest to reach up to 1 meter.

With some hairy undersides, the plant will grow with bright green to dark green leaves. They are about  4–15 centimetres long & 2–5 centimetres wide.

By processing their leaves in different ways, this tiny plant offers thousands of teas.
